Kievan Rus - text of the global strategy that allows the user to be at the head of any of the three dozen states. The player takes control of the people and the action begins in the oldest times. This game allows you to play as the ruler of Kievan Rus', one of the most powerful states in the world at that time. The Middle Ages is a setting that is truly a treasure for any strategy game fan. There are 35 states and barbarians in the game, each with their own territory and resources.
However, the ruler's path to rule will not be a walk in the park. Get ready for deadly wars and underhanded politics - you will face off against the most powerful states in the game world, including England, which rules the seas, Balkan states (Poland, Hungary, Croatia and Serbia) and the Arab state of Syria, with a huge army at your disposal. So you think the Roman Empire made great strides? Maybe you prefer European countries like France and Scotland? Or do you think Byzantium is a good example? Let them know that you are ready to go head to head and build your own empire and that you are a dictator and a strategist. Their goal is to advance their own civilization while preventing yours from doing so. Put your political vision to the test and see if you're good at strategy and diplomacy - lead your country through times.
To be successful, wage wars with your rivals. Raise your own army and fleet, declare wars or start fighting in them when they are in full swing. Use spies and send saboteurs into your enemy country to find out what they will do. Invade states, conquer countries and loot rare resources.
A wise dictator is the key to the success of state politics. Manage foreign affairs, conclude non-aggression pacts and make proposals for consideration by other states. Remember that diplomacy and well-designed policies are often more effective options than war.
Don't forget about the economic activities of the state: produce food and craft weapons for your army. Use research to increase the amount of goods produced and military abilities. However, a single civilization cannot produce everything, so you need to trade with other states and buy rare resources and goods.
Introduce new laws and make your citizens obey them. You can found the civilization religion of your choice. Appoint army and fleet commanders, as well as tax, trade, economic and construction chiefs. Separatism will not be tolerated: Suppress civil unrest in your state. Your empire will be the most powerful, and diplomacy, weapons and economy will help you achieve it.
