In the previous chapter you freed your friends from their cages and prevented them from ending up in the extraction room. But they couldn't be taken very far because Rod showed up at the last minute and they had to go back into hiding. Your friends are now in different parts of this huge ice cream factory. You must bring them all together and defeat Rod, the evil ice cream man, once and for all.
In this new part you start playing as Mike. For the first time, you can switch players and go back to J. at any time. Explore the new parts of the factory in this chapter, face the mini-rods and the ice cream man, and bring Mike and J back together.

MIKE AND J'S JOURNEY TO FREE FRIENDS
Players can find the connection to the previous version in Ice Scream 5 Friends. Unfortunately, the friends rescued from the cage earlier were recaptured. Notably, Rod, the game's main antagonist, spotted her at the last minute and sent her back to the cell. Only Mike and J were the two who escaped.
